These DF33C Series 3.3 mm wire to board small power supply crimp socket connector housings are the smallest connector in the EnerBee range. The DF33C series has a maximum current capacity of 5A when used with 20 AWG wire. The housings of these DF33C sockets feature a robust positive locking mechanism which is designed to prevent accidental unmating caused by drops or external shocks. When mated, a clear, tactile click is produced which confirms the connector is fully engaged guaranteeing a complete electrical and mechanical connection. This positive locking mechanism also meets the various requirements of industrial power supply and power sources. The contacts of these DF33C crimp sockets are separated by walls inside the housing enabling them to be independent of one another and preventing short circuits. These DF33C 3.3 mm crimp socket housings utilise a two-point spring contact structure that provides a stable connection. The two contact points stop the contact from oscillating under high vibration which can lead to fretting or corrosion. The contacts for these DF33C crimp housings must be purchased separately. These DF33C crimp socket housings can be used with contact retainers which assure complete contact insertion.
