Description
This 28 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/422 data transmission and digital audio applications. It features 4 twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with polypropylene (PP) for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 90% coverage tinned copper braid, along with a 28 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket and is rated for CL2 installations.

9806 is designed for RS-232 extended distance applications; RS-422 applications; computer communications; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, …); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
