Description
This 28 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/485 data transmission, computer communications, and low-voltage analog and digital control applications. It features 2 twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with Datalene® (foam polyethylene) for stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and a 65% coverage tinned copper braid, along with a 28 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a PVC jacket and is rated for CL2 installations.
