Description
This 24 AWG multi-pair cable supports EIA RS-232/422 data transmission and digital audio applications. It features 4 twisted pairs of stranded tinned copper conductors insulated with foam fluorinated ethylene propylene (FFEP) to provide low capacitance and stable electrical performance. The cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage) and includes a 24 AWG drain wire to provide effective grounding and reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic interference. The overall construction is enclosed in a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) jacket and is rated for plenum (CMP) installations.
Applications
88104 is designed for extreme high temperature environments; rs-232 extended distance applications; rs-422 applications; computer communication; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, …); low voltage digital control (24v, …); line level audio; panel wiring.
